ESSAYS
While the following two essays "Notes Toward an Adequate Interventionist [Performance] Practice" (1984) and "Cinematic Subversion and the Theory of the Avant-Garde" (1988) were written for specific contexts outside of the Reading Room exhibits, they contain theoretical and critical reflections which are pertinent to the methods, form and development of the Reading Rooms and their related works.
